Who We Are?

We are an independent church within the Baptist Union, consisting of people who live on the Fairfield development 2 miles south of Stotfold in Bedfordshire and from the surrounding area. We aim to be a friendly and family orientated church, for people of all ages and stages in life. We gather together every Sunday morning for modern, lively and thought provoking services. Whether you are a Christian, or simply curious, you are most welcome to come along and join us. Our hope is that you will find out how God can enrich and bless your life.

Parenting

We support families to grow in faith together. Parents are equipped to raise children who know and love God. Inspired by Deuteronomy 6:5–7, we promote Christian values at home, helping children build a lifelong two-way relationship with God through love, teaching, and shared experiences rooted in His Word.

Membership

We offer open membership to anyone who professes faith in Jesus Christ. Even if not baptised, individuals may be accepted as full members following agreement by a Church Members’ Meeting, based on their public declaration of faith and personal commitment to the life, values, and mission of the Church.

Marriage

Marriage reflects God's love and purpose. We believe strong relationships are essential to a healthy Christian life. Child Dedication

Dedicating a child is a way to thank God and commit to raising them in faith. Like Hannah dedicated Samuel, parents commit to guiding their children spiritually. It marks the beginning of their faith journey and the Church’s role in nurturing their growth, prayers, and support through the years.

Beliefs

We believe in one eternal God. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Creator of all. The Bible is God’s inspired Word. Jesus, born of a virgin, died for our sins, rose again, and reigns as King. Salvation is a free gift for all who accept Him. We live by these foundational truths.

Affiliation

We are part of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and the Central Baptist Association. We support their work through prayer, giving, and involvement. We also engage with BMS World Mission and local ecumenical groups, sharing resources and encouraging unity as part of our commitment to the wider Church family.
