Affiliation
The Church is a member of the Baptist Union of Great Britain (Baptist Union) and the Central Baptist Association (Association).
The Church will normally promote, encourage, support and advance the work of the Baptist Union, the Association and BMS World Mission through prayer, through financial contributions and, where appropriate, by making personnel available from the membership of the Church. When it is able the Church will also support local Baptist and ecumenical gatherings.
Baptism
Your child is precious to you and, we believe, precious to God. You want the very best for them, and so does God. You want them to make right choices in life, for themselves and for others.
Dedication is bringing a child to God to thank him for their life and to commit to raise him or her in the Christian faith as Hannah brought her son Samuel to God. In addition to give a name to an infant before the congregation.
A child’s dedication is just the beginning of a lifelong journey, including their exploration of faith.
Beliefs
We believe that God is the creator and Ruler of the universe. We believe in one God, who co-exists as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
‘In the beginning God created the heavens and earth.’ Genesis 1:1
We believe that creation and all existence is of God and that people are made in the image of Him.
‘So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him, male and female He created them.’ Genesis 1:27
We believe the Holy bible is God’s word to us and is the inspired word of God.
‘All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.’ 2 Timothy 3:16
We believe Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and the Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as a perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross and arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. Jesus ascended to heaven and will return again someday to earth to reign as King.
‘And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.’ Matthew 1:22
We believe salvation is Gods free gift to us to accept.
‘For the wages of sin is death. but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.’ Romans 6:23

Marriage
Membership
The church applies the following Baptismal qualification for Church Membership:
Open membership so that persons seeking membership who have not been baptised may at the discretion of a Church Members’ Meeting be accepted for full membership based on their own public profession of faith.
Parenting
Families have the opportunity to grow in their faith together and what it means to follow Jesus.
Equipping parents to raise God connected children and teens and helping them develop a lasting two-way relationship with God.
Deuteronomy 6:5-7: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
Vision
We live in an age where leadership and vision are in very short supply.
Our Church at Fairfield Community Hall, where we serve God and the local community, welcomes anyone who wants to fellowship with others who have had enough with turning to Man for vision and leadership. In a time where vision and leadership have never been more crucial we are putting our faith in a living God who won’t ever let us down.
“Where there is no vision, the people perish” Proverbs 29:18
